🏈  UX Researcher II at FanDuel | Prev. Uber, McDonald's

⌚  Currently learning about wearables and health tech

Hey, I'm Rohan, a product researcher and strategist.

I started my career probing into all kinds of feedback: pickups on the opposite side of the street, orders to the wrong location, and 'we want more free bets'. The fun part was always what came next: how people perceive ETAs over the course of an Uber ride, and why McDonald's customers scroll the app while standing right in front of a kiosk.

At FanDuel's New Ventures team, the problems got harder and more fun. Launching into brand new markets meant no existing playbook, just eager sports fans who had never placed a legal bet before. That pushed me to get sharper about what makes a qual finding actually useful: translating ambiguous findings into a clear decision that changes what happens next.

Hardware has pulled at me since early on: automotive interfaces, video game peripherals, and now wearables. I'm actively learning – a lesson a day, from HRV basics to how each platform tells its own story. As I look for my next step in 2026, I'm planning a move to Boston; a new chapter I'm genuinely excited about.

I really appreciate you stopping by! If you'd like to learn more about me outside of research, scroll down below – and if anything resonates, my inbox is always open.
